PDF stands for 'Portable Document Format' and has become a standard for electronic documentation used commonly on the web and print. The finished document is similar to a word processor document but can be viewed by anyone using any type of computer with the free 'Acrobat' reader, but not changed.

A PDF spec sheet for your boat can be downloaded and printed if required. Web pages don't print well so a buyer printing your boat details may have photos split over page breaks etc which won't happen with a PDF.

Buyers, therefore, can download your boat details and print them in a professional format so it's of equal quality to spec sheets they may have on other boats from brokers etc. While the web is a great format for delivery of information, many people still like a quality print-out to compare details away from their computer.

Not only it is a benefit for those looking at your boat details but it also enables you to create a high quality print-out of your boat's details which you may want for a number of purposes such as handing out to viewers or sending to people without web access.

Well the good news is that you don't have to! Our servers do all the work and all you have to do is decide whether or not you want it.

Once your account is paid for visit the 'preview' page (where you add images) where there's now a check box at the bottom entitled 'Publish PDF'. Simply check this box before clicking the 'publish my page!' button and it'll be created.

Creating the PDF takes a little time so there may be a few seconds wait before you see the confirmation page where you can download the PDF and view it.

If you choose to publish the PDF, a new link will be displayed on the top right of your boat's web site. Buyers simply click this to download it.

They will need the free reader to view it but most new computers come with this and if not it's easily downloaded and installed.
